As you can tell by this post 7 weeks later and I am just now getting around to updating the blog life has been quite busy around here!!
Kaylin was born first! She was 6lbs 4 oz. Harper was only a minute behind her but a full pound and half smaller at 4 lbs 11oz! Due to harper's marginal curd placement she was not able to get as many nutrients from mommy as her sister!!
Both girls are healthy healthy healthy!! Praise the Lord! They had the nicu team in the OR ready to go but they were gladly unneeded! The csection went smoothly other than mommy losing her marbles a couple times! Daddy was able to watch them being born and take lots of pictures the first few minutes!! He then got to hold both of them and bring them over to me to see!! I cried! They were so beautiful and I instantly knew the purest form of love!! Love just like my God must have for me I now felt for them!!
Both girls were able to room in with us and come home with us just three days later! So thankful we were able to make it all the way till 37 weeks! Although I will never have that bikini body ever again after how big I got carrying 2, one look at them and it is worth every ache, pain, tear, drs. Appt, and moment of bedrest I endured!
